I've just been listening to Chaucer's Canturbury Tales on Audio Book in the
car... I just finished listening to the Merchant's Tale, during which, the
faithless May takes her lover's note to the privy to read.... once read,
she tears it up, and drops it down. A brief mention, in passing (no pun),
but a mention nonetheless...
