So far there's been lots (and lots and lots) of discussion on outdoor
privies, but what about the evolution of the indoor bathroom in all its
varied splendor and pageantry?  Here's a link to a brief (okay, very
brief) history of the indoor bathroom that I ran across on the Pottery
Barn's website. . . thought it might be of interest.
