HISTARCHers,

I am looking for references to "intrusive" historic Native American
burials in clearly prehistoric mounds in the southeast in general and
in Louisiana in particular. I have come across a few references here
in Louisiana but it seems to have been more prevalent in the Upper
Mississippi Valley and Great Lakes region than here in the Lower
Mississippi. So, I thought I would cast my net out a little further
and consider the greater southeast. I am not on ARCH-L so please feel
free to forward this request to any appropriate parties. I can be
reached off-list at [log in to unmask]

Thanks In Advance,

Rob Mann
