Like Norrington's the HB set is a mixed bag.  I think the 9th (under
Goodman) is very good and 2nd only to Bru"ggen's (who, incidentally, I
believe is easily the best HIP conductor of Beethoven on record).  The 5th
(Monica Huggett) is IMHO pretty week.  The rest fall somewhere in between
and are probably much of a muchness with Norrington and Hogwood.
