I expect you are very busy but I am puzzled that I can get no response from
you? In fact I have no idea if my messages are even reaching you?

I cannot post to the list as my [log in to unmask] address is being sabotaged
by the state Telefonica company aka terra.es (or so it would appear). They
are forcing us to use their services and the reason for this is that I am
now on ADSL and therefore can only receive from my ISP but cannot send via
them; I have to send messages via terra and they are diverting tens of
thousands of messages passing through this way into oblivion in order to
damage their competitors.

The problems of the third world! But please let me know if I am reaching
you? As I said the MSO posting may be too old by now!

Thanks - John D/

We are having very serious trouble with our ISP (Telefonica/ Terra.es) who
have lost thousands of messages during the last week sent out via CTV.
This comes to you from our Terra address. If you need to, please reply to
[log in to unmask] for the time being.
=======
I'm not able to get any answer from you so am using this e-mail address. I
cannot post to the list from this e-mail address and the normal one isn't
working with more than 40% consistency.

Maybe too late for the piece (below) to be posted? I'm receiving most
lists from various sources, it's the outgoings that are being lost.

We are having massive problems with the Telefonica server called <terra.es>
and millions of e-mails across the whole of Spain are going walkies.

Did you ever receive this (below)?

The post was never acknowledged (which I am sending again now).

Thanks
John D/

I'm sending, I think, to the right address but I am getting no response at
all?

I sent the piece below this morning, for the 2nd time, but still there's no
acknowledgement.

Am I doing something wrong or have I an ISP problem?

Thanks

Richard Todd wrote:
>Charles Munch, Pierre Monteux, Thomas Schippers,

>of an artistic director until 1957.

Indeed, along with Markevitch, they all appeared with the orchestra in
1958/59 season, Krips giving the Canadian premiere of Bruckner 8. A
notorious evening in more than one way for the programme reads at the top:

< Given in the presence of His Excellency the Austrian Ambassador and Mrs.
Kurt Waldheim >
