According to Francis, there were quite a few Igloo type buildings
constructed in concrete. Innes illustrates a Nissen hut in a semi-sunken
position with bricked ends which was used to store bomb fuses. No doubt a
Quonset or Nessen hut would have made useful formwork for a concrete
structure. The key to figuring them out seems to be the nature of the curve.

Ron also hits on a major problem with research in this period lack of
documentation. It seems many of these buildings were erected in a great
hurry and nobody really cared about documenting much about them as they were
temporary and well there was a war on!
