The Archeological Society of Maryland is pleased to announce that on April 7,
2001 we will hold our annual Spring Symposium. This year the topic is "Current
Research in African-American Archeology in Maryland: Past Perceptions, Future
Trends". We look forward to speakers including: Don Creveling; Laura Galke;
Richard Hughes and John Seidel; John McCarthy; Tara Tetrault; Kirsti Uunila; and
Janice Williams and Jim Gibb. We welcome all professionals, avocationalists,
educators, and the general public.
Date: April 7, 2001
Place: Peoples Resource Center
100 Community Place, Crownsville, Maryland
Time: Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the Program begins at 9:15 a.m.
Costs: $4.00 for ASM members; $6.00 for non-members and is payable at the door.
