Has anyone out there done a study and/or
nomination for the older types of
transmission line towers, those wonderful
Erector Set Martians Across The Landscape
which look so good silhouetted against a red
evening sky? Of late, their replacements are
as exciting as and resemble street lamps.
Perhaps there should be a Wright-Patterson
AFB sort of place where several of each type
are left in peace for the eccentric to gaze
upon.
