With the pitch floating around like that through the years, it proves that
absolute pitch is actually LEARNED early in life before age five.  My piano
teacher was an exception in that he probably learned absolute pitch after
that "threshold" age around age seven or eight.  A person that lived in the
eighteenth century hears an A as today's Ab.
