Studies have shown that exposure to classical music at a specific age,
I believe in 1 1/2 -2 1/2 year range has a very positive effect on spatial
development and reason. Another theory that applies to most anything,
music included, is "garbage in, garbage out".......any child of mine would
be exposed to classical music from the time of conception onwards......
A side note, the great Italian cyclist of the 1980's and 1990's, Gianni
Bugno, had a weak point, descending. He was advised to listen to Mozart
to solve the problem. Anyone familiar with his career will know that the
cure worked.
I have advised friends to play Bach to calm children down, it also works.
