Thanks much for the review! I really must hear that disk. Now if someone
will just record the string trio (1931) and 6th quartet (1951) (you think
some of the .4th. quartet -which, I'll admit, I haven't heard yet- sounds
modern? Though imho in the 6th quartet it works- wonderfully.) ... Thanks
for clearing up something which really was bothering me, too. Every
reference I've ever seen to the 4th quartet has it listed as E major,
except for promotionals for the CD which claim b minor, which was confusing
me all gone... AFAIK only the first two of his 6 quartets are in minor (d
and g resp. iirc.)
