Needless to say Herbert von Karajan's Double Pack Edition from DG or
alternatively Wagner -Overtures & Preludes launched also by DG 439 667-2
presented by various conductors such as Bohm, Gerdes, Kubelik, Jochum and
Karajan of course.  another one is very interesting: Stokowskyi conducts
LSO (Phase 4 stereo) London 443 901-2 featuring The Ride of the Valkyries,
Forest Murmurs, which are comparatively rare recorded at present as
individual items.
