Shaham's recording is nice and it is good to hear the Korngold, but IMHO no
one is quite as good as Bell for the Barber; He has just the right touch.
Add the considerations of Baltimore/Zinman and the pairing with Walton's
concerto and Bloch's Baal Shem and what you have is a quality CD!
