Just a couple of weeks ago the Philharmonia Quartett Berlin played the
First Quartet here in Ottawa.  I had barely heard of the composer and never
heard the piece, but I have to concur with Bert Bailey.  On the strength of
this hearing, Schulhoff strikes me as a major composer.  I'll have to seek
out more of his stuff according to the recommendations I've seen here.
