I don't know how new it is, but the Naxos disc featuring three suites
by Ferde Grofe is one of the best yet.  They are not the only fish in the
sea with these works (Hanson's "Mississippi Suite", and the "Grand Canyon
Suite"s conducted by Fiedler and the composer are well worth hanging on
to), but the conducting, playing (by the Bournemouth Symphony), and sound
on the Naxos disc are GREAT!  I hope that the rest of the Naxos Americana
series measures up.
