Pardon the cross-listings:

This email is to announce the birth of Articulations, a new live on-line
chat hosted at the Archaeology at About.com website. Each Sunday,
archaeologists will be invited to present their ideas and new projects, and
to openly discuss their ideas with their colleagues and the public.
Moderated by Pat Garrow and me, K. Kris Hirst, the series promises to be a
stimulating foray into the possibilities of the Internet.

First speaker in the series is Tom Dillehay of the University of Kentucky,
excavator of the site of Monte Verde, Chile. He will be online with Pat
Garrow on Sunday, March 4th, from 9-11 pm Eastern Standard Time (or 2-4 am
GMT, March 5th). I fully plan to include scholars from around the world, so
the time won't always be so hideous for people in Europe or Africa.

A list of upcoming speakers is available here:
http://archaeology.about.com/science/archaeology/library/chat/blchatarchive.htm

And suggestions are, as always, warmly welcomed. Come along, bring a friend!
