Far be it from me to be pedantic (!) but I believe Martha is by McCartney,
not Lennon. Good Day, Sunshine is another example of a rhythmically
interesting Beatles song, as is I'm only Sleeping.
Then there's the good ol' Grateful Dead; there's a segment on their first
live album (Live Dead) in which they seamlessly go from 4/4 to 8/8 (3+3+2)
to 11/8 (3+3+3+2) to 4/4 (as 12/12) within the space of 15 minutes.
Or the second Soft Machine LP with all its bizarre time sigatures.
