In a review of the Boston Symphony Orchestra concert of April 21, 2001,
Richard Dyer wrote: "The concert opened with Bach's 'Air on a G String'
which Ozawa offered in memory of the Italian conductor Giuseppe Sinopoli,
who collapsed Friday night (April 20, 2001) while conducting Act III of
'Aida' in Berlin and died shortly afterward. He was 54." (Boston Globe,
April 23, 2001)
