If the bees fail to fly and crawl on the ground and up grass stems coud be
chronic paralysis virus and there are no direct treatments for virus
infections.
Another possibility is nosema disease or insecticides.
Are you sure that your colonies are varroa free? In Italy, we have varroa
mites resistent to fluvalinate, coumaphos and probably amitraz.
