I don't know if the subject line in my last post was the only "stupid doc"
reference, but I'm certainly sorry if it offended. I should have said "stupid
advice." I suppose I thought it would come across as tongue in cheek, since I
am a physician myself. Within the physician community, there is obviously a
huge range of ability and interest in supporting breastfeeding mothers, and
physician involvement in Lactnet emphasizes that. I thought my post had been
in the spirit of encouraging the non-MDs to communicate with the docs in a
way that will get them listened to, and hopefully change some practices. I'm
very sorry to offend anyone with the subject line.
