My oldest ds was 3 (exactly--on his birthday) when I conceived my dd. He
tandem nursed for 8 mos after the birth  and weaned at 4 1/2. His nursing
picked up dramatically from once per day to often when my full supply came
in. I conceived 2 babies that I miscarried when my dd was 2 yr 3 mos and
again at 4 yrs, 8 mos. She nursed through both, even though I completly lost
my milk supply after the first mis. due to severe blood loss. She weaned on
her 5th bd, 3 mos before my 2 nd ds was conceived.
