Hello,

A shipwreck site from the early 20th century has yielded five spoons
that appear to made of a cuprous metal and plated in silver. Engraved
on the back of the spoons are the words "Magnetic Silver." I have not
been able to locate a reference for this type of silverware. Is anyone
familiar with the type?

Thanks in advance,
