Hi Kathy,

For general information, Goggin is perhaps the best starting reference, but
Markin's "Pottery from Spanish Shipwrecks" is the most up-to-date account
I've found.  Both were integral in the research John Mintz and I conducted on
olive jars from British Colonial sites in North and South Carolina (published
in "Southeastern Archaeology" vol. 17, no. 1, pp. 92-102 [1998]).  Hope this
helps.
