I am conducting a research project looking at the
location of archaeology departments and programs in a
university system (what programs, departments etc that
archaeology is  placed within or part of).

For instance, at the school I attend, we have a fairly
small archaeology program that is within the
Geoscience Dept in the College of Science and Math.  I
know in most  universities, Archaeology is found in
the Anthro. Dept, and in some larger schools,
Archaeology programs are their own department separate
from other programs

Using this listserve as a source of info for an
informal survey, I am asking for  some imput from you
as to how your department /program is set up at your
university.

I will be glad to share the results of my informal
survey with the list when completed if anyone is
interested.
