I am getting ready to place my Spring order, and had a question or two in
this regard. I also have one concerning the behavior of my hives

At the present time I have a make shift suit. I have a good hat and veil,
but the suit itself is tyvec. The veil has draw strings.

What I think I would like is a zippered suit, with a zippered veil. I would
like to have excellent visibility, and good circulation--I'll sacrifice some
protection for confort as its hot in Ga in the summer.

I'd like some suggestions as to style, source and any other info people would
like to throw in.

Second question. I have a decent supply of the major items needed-hive
bodies, etc. As well as the major tools. What I need to know is about some
of the little things you need but forget about.

Finally about my hives. Both are light for this time of year--the flows here
were really bad this year. Neither hive was messed with much this fall until
I got them. I got the first on Thanksgiving-call it Hive A. When I got it I
started feeding 2:1. I estimate the hive has drunk around 2 gallons since
that point.
I got the second hive about 3 weeks ago. Call it Hive B.

The past week or so we have had better weather here--warmer. Both hives show
activity at least externally. However Hive A has not drunk much syrup the
past week--maybe a pint. Hive B is drinking it like mad.

Now--Is there something wrong with A? OR is it just that maybe it has enough
stores for now?
