Peg, while I agree with the assessment that isn't largely unnecessary, I
think the biggest thing we have to realize when working with the public is
that there are religious reasons for people circing. I would never presume
to tell a Jewish client of mine that it was unnecessary, dare I say she
wouldn't be my client any longer. While I have boys that aren't and my
opinions are not favorable for circing, I realize that it is a fact of life
when dealing with the general public :O) Many people ignore what the AAP
says about breastfeeding too.
