As far as politics, as far as *I* can tell, Pettersson would probably fall
somewhere in the political spectrum between your average Hollywood social
activist and a member of the German Green party - hardly a radical, and
really more devoted to individual freedom than either group. His settings
of the poetry of Pablo Neruda may contribute to his image as a "radical",
but in reality, he didn't fit into *any* easily-defined political box.
