Singspiel - CBC Radio 2, La Chaine, BBC Radio 3, Antena2 and WNED all
broadcast Verdi's Il Trovatore on Saturday at the Met at 13:30.  On Monday
at 16:30 Antena2 has Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle.  On Tuesday at 20:00 WNED
has Puccini's La Fanciulla del West.  On Thursday at 15:00 Antena2 has
Verdi's I Due Foscari.

French Music - All during the week at 04:00 BBC/3 is bradcasting music by
Henri Dutilleux; later, at 06:30 they have an exploration of music by
various French composers.

Swedish Music - Earlier this month, in an email entitled "Two Other Radio
Highlights" Eric Schissel introduced us to Swedish Radio P2.  On Monday to
Friday at 05:00 the program "Formiddag med" concentrates on one composer.
This Wednesday the late Swedish composer Dag Wiren is highlighted.

Alfred Schnittke - BBC/3 continues its celebrations of this late Russian
Composer with specials "Seeking the Soul" on Saturday, 08:00 and 17:15;
Sunday at 09:00, 11:30 15:00 and 19:00; Monday at 14:30 and 17:15.
