When I got to hear the Canadian Brass (who duly or unduly rejected my brass
quintet piece) in Columbia a few years ago I was quite impressed by their
technique and overall musicianship.  What I didn't like was the "need" to
saturate their show with comedy--the whole affair gave me the feel of
having been to a concert by the Globetrotters.
