Anshel is, at last report, still teaching at the University of North Texas.
At one time he was the first chair of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and
founder of the the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra.  For a short time he was
conductor of the Dallas Symphony.  He also taught at Southern Methodist
University.
