Per your reply, I fed syrup until natural sources became available and they
quit taking it. Initially, they were taking about 2 quarts every 3 days and
this continued until Dandilions and Marsh Merigolds were in full bloom. When
syrup sits for more than a week without being touched, all I have read say
it is time to remove it. It starts to ferment and mold. The bees were on
some foundation and come drawn comb-not completely foundation.
