Hi all

I did a search of Bee-L archives to see if there is any info on
queens flying after mating for no apparent reason but drew a blank

I noticed, some years ago, some numbered queens of mine swapping colonies.

I am fairly shure that some queens do fly about on some occasions but I have
no sensible ideas about why.

This thread has run a little on IBList but I wondered if your members had
any information on these lines that would add to the pool of knowledge?
