Intensification plagued the Aboriginal Archaeological scene in Australia
from the early 1980s. The principal intensificationist was Harry Lourandos.
He wrote a summary of Australian prehistory called A Continent of
Hunter-Gatherers emphasising this concept. A citation search should pull out
his work and related articles.
