Not really. Pinkey, Carol and John Cotter did not get their own
awards. Pinkey got a special silver version of HIS medal, Cotter
died before the process was completed but would not have been
given a copy of the John L. Cotter Award (because of its
purpose - younger people) and Carol Ruppe got a special version of
her award as a certificate under glass. We consider these to be
"creation ceremonies" (Genesis) rather than the first presentation
of the award. The new award was announced at these events; first
presentations followed the next year.

Complex.
