CPO has just released a disc of septets from Alexander Fesca, born in
1820. I read two reviews in Fanfare Magazine, the one for serious record
collectors. One review emphasized the classical nature of Fesca's music;
the other indicated that Fesca is a romantic.
Are any of you familiar with Fesca's compositions, and would you label
Fesca a romantic, a classicist, or perhaps too diverse to label at all?
