My husband and I have been listening to all Beethoven's piano sonatas
recently.  I am a violist and Russ is a clarinetist, and run a chamber
music festival.  We are not as familiar with this area of his composition
as we are with his chamber ensemble music and symphonies.  For me the depth
of his genius can hardly be appreciated by mortal humans.
