For at least fifty years the death of the novel has been predicted by
various talking heads.  The novel remains alive and well.  The demise of
classical music has been announced by another set of talking heads for even
longer.  Classical music may be dying (whatever the hell that means), but
what an exquisite corpse.!!!!!!
