I have a friend (yes - really!) who plans to visit Italy during our
antipodean winter.  She has heard of the Maggio Musicale, has examined
its Web site, and has found only last year's program.

Is there an Italian resident, or - better - a Firenze resident, who
knows anything at all about the advance plans for this festival.  People
travelling all that distance must make their plans in advance.  Presumably
the organisers must have some idea by now what they propose to do!

If anyone has useful knowledge, perhaps they might prefer to cut out the
middleman and send details to Rosamund Nutting <[log in to unmask]>.
Of course the details might be of interest to others on the list, in which
case they can be published, with Dave's permission, in the usual way.
