Sir Peter Pears, with Benjamin Britten
Thomas Quasthoff with Thomas Spencer.

The Pears/Britten collaboration is unique in that this cycle is rarely sung
by tenors, and there is a splended meeting of the minds in this
collaboration. (Imagine that!)

The Quasthoff is simply some of the most flawless singing I have ever
heard in my life.
