Engineering and Environmental Consultants (EEC) is seeking to fill an
immediate opening for an experienced Principal Investigator/Cultural
Resource Manager in its growing cultural resource program. This individual
will assume responsibility for EEC's cultural resource program and will
supervise completion of numerous projects throughout southern Arizona. The
duty station for the position could be based out of any of EEC's three
offices (Phoenix, Sierra Vista, or Tucson).
A successful candidate will be the direct contact with major federal,
county, municipal, and private clients. He/she will also interface with
federal, state, county, and local regulatory agencies/jurisdictions, and
various tribal governments. At a minimum, projects will involve Class III
surveys, monitoring, eligibility testing, and data recovery.
Successful candidates must possess at least a Master's degree in
anthropology/archaeology; and must be fully permittable in the state of
Arizona. Experience with NHPA, NEPA, and Arizona cultural resource
regulations is required. Individuals must also have direct supervisory
experience, and a demonstrable record managing cultural resource projects
from initial planning to completion. Salaries and compensation packages are
extremely competitive, and will be based upon qualifications and experience.
