Indeed, along with Markevitch, they all appeared with the orchestra in
1958/59 season, Krips giving the Canadian premiere of Bruckner 8.  A
notorious evening in more than one way for the programme reads at the
top:

   Given in the presence of His Excellency the Austrian Ambassador and
   Mrs. Kurt Waldheim
