Try Itzhak Perlman, I bought his Greatest Hit Labeled by EMI Classic, which
is very nice.Mind you, they are short pieces.

Meanwhile, I think Korean violinist Kung Huang Chuang is a nice, her work
of Bruch's Violin Concerto No.  1 is very touchable, you can hear that it
is played by a female, tender but also determined...
