Thank you for so many enthusiastic responses to my request for the name
of Topsy-Turvy. I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. For some reason
I had extreme difficulty locating it without the actual name. It wasn't
widely advertised and if it was not for this list I probably would not have
ever seen it.

My only criticism is that for such a lengthy movie, it focuses on a very
short time period (the making of the Mikado, which may be based on my
prejudice that of Gilbert and Sulivan's three major hits, The Mikado is my
least favorite). It is sad that we live in a country where the trashiest
of pop-movies get incredible advertisement and the most serious are hardly
viewed. I have always enjoyed Gilbert and Sulivan, and despite the movies
slowness at times, I think I may buy when it comes out on DVD (and I get a
DVD player).

Thank you again for the recommendation.

Sincerely
James T. Sherman
