I like Rach and wonder if he belongs in this century at all.  I think I
have heard him referred to as the "last of the Romantics".  His Paganini
variations were the 2nd piece of CM I ever heard (ref my post on "how you
started" 5/19/00).  I particularly like how he grew a extra finger on each
hand so he could compose the Rach 3rd concerto ;-)
