He had better have a tolerance for truly tepid excursions then,
though there some gems in the bin.

Hessenberg sinfionetta for string orchestra (1959)
Holmboe preludes for sinfonietta (10)
Kolodub (2)  both of these composers are part of a group of Ukrainians
Ljasenko (2)
macha (3) - at one time one of prague's leading contemporary composers
mathias sinfoneitta 1966
mueller-Zurich (2)
roussel Sinfonietta for trumpet and string orchetra opus 52 (1934)
sinden, sinfonietta (available in Sibelius format only)  - the
composer is a student at Antioch college and was born in 1982
Slavicky, 4
villa lobos, 2

Have references also to sinfoniettas by Barlow (1881-1951), but no
publishes scores
