The most unusual Bruckner I know - to the extent that it doesn't even sound
like Bruckner - is the cantata Helgoland.  This used to be available on LP
with Wyn Morris conducting.  I've not seen a CD transfer of this.  However
Teldec has Barenboim with the Berlin Phil, coupled with the Symphony No.
1.
