Someone who has written to me asked about 'bee glasses' which his great
grandfather used to talk about.  He was of the impression that they were
somehow used in the process of looking for colonies of wild bees, perhaps as
a means of better tracking bees on their return flight?

Can anyone throw some more information at this one?
