Rudolf Kempe's three 3-CD sets of Richard Strauss's orchestral music, which
I think can safely be referred to by that much overworked word, classic.
The last time I saw them on offer, they were cheaper per CD than Naxos.
Don't decide which set to get, David - buy the lot!
