My favourite instrument:  oboe and family.  All pieces from Baroque
(Marcello, Vivaldi, Haendel etc.), Classic (Mozart) to Contemporany
(Holliger, Berio, Scelsi).  I'm a composer and the first sound of a new
piece is always for oboe.  The second favourite instrument:  viola.  It
is a beautiful sound.
