Looks a bit like comic-book cursing, to me. <grin> But more seriously,
I agree with most of your comments on the subject: obviously, a
meta-composition would only be a starting place for a truly creative
composer (or writer); they would certainly allow for (and hope for)
inspiration that can heighten or improve upon that first plan. BTW, does
your software incorporate the ideas represented by the above emotional
symbols? (I like this idea.)
I also agree with Bill's statement below:
